Robbie Laws: Robbie Laws started playing the Guitar in his twenties. His interest in guitar was intense, fueled with a relentless desire. This self taught Axman studied a variety of styles and emerged a true Master of the genre he so dearly loves. In 1978 a chance meeting with the great Albert Collins
turned out to be the defining moment of Robbie's career. He jammed
and played with the Iceman for more than a week and when the smoke
cleared Robbie Came away with the stimulus that to this day provides
Laws with the ability to play from the heart and soul. Performances: Robbie Laws has toured extensively throughout the U. S. and Canada. Robbie has made 5 tours of Canada and over a dozen U.S. tours within 6 years. Robbie Laws is also a favorite among the Blues festival circuit, with a show stopping performance every time. Robbie Laws has played with or opened for Buddy Guy, BB King, Ronnie Earl, Albert Collins, John Mayall, James Brown, Aaron Neville, Leon Russell, Joe Louis Walker, Junior Wells, and many, many more. |
