Mission Statement:
Dedicated to fostering and encouraging the creation, performance and study of original music through a variety of educational, professional and humanitarian programs and activities.

Goal:
The goal of The Northwest Music Foundation is to offer assistance and advance the education of musicians and songwriters and (Institutions and Organizations who support such musical artists) through awards, scholarships, internships, grants and commissions.

Such assistance may include, but not be limited to sponsoring;

1. Seminars;

  • Songwriting
  • Recording
  • Music Business
  • Artist Performance

2. Songwriting Competitions to stimulate Educational Growth

3. Summer Camps for Tutoring

4. Awards to encourage the Development of Original Music in Schools.

The Northwest has a great tradition of fostering Original Music influenced by it's unique heritage. It is the goal of The Northwest Music Foundation to perpetuate the tradition of this craft.
